Coxultancy presents:

Steering the Head of the River Fours: a Coxing Clinic

Date: 7pm Friday 13th November 2009 (clinic finishes at 8.30pm)

Venue: London Rowing Club

£10 per person (payable on the door)

If you have any questions or would like to confirm your attendance to

the event, please e-mail clinic@coxultancy.com. (Confirming attendance

is not compulsory, but will help the organisers!)

Building on the success of the 2008 clinic, Phelan and Rebecca present an extended, multimedia based seminar covering all aspects of racing in the Fours Head of the River 2009.

NEW features for 2009:

*** Audio clips of Phelan, Rebecca and other coxes during head races ***

*** Input from GB and International rowers on what they want to hear from their coxes ***

Aimed at intermediate and experienced coxes - although novices are also welcome to attend.

The LRC bar will be open from 6.30 for snacks, drinks and hot beverages. After the presentation there will be an opportunity for an informal discussion, Q&A session and a natter with other coxes.

The clinic will be presented by: Phelan Hill and Rebecca Dowbiggin

Phelan has over 7 years of tideway experience. He has represented GB

at World Championships, World Cups and European Champs. Domestically

he most recently won HORR 2008 overall in addition to a list of

achievements that includes winning Henley Royal Regatta and other

domestic races.

Rebecca progressed from a novice at university to a Boat Race-winning cox. She has represented GB at the European Championships and has won at Henley Royal Regatta and many other domestic regattas and head races.
